Dec 01, 2018  According to the motherboard manual I should have a total of 14 ports (6 x USB 3.0/2.0 and 8 x USB 2.0/1.1). Why IOreg is showing a total of 15 I don't know. However IOreg now registers an USB 3.0 device on the HS. ports but it's still running at USB 2.0 speeds but at least now I can carry on with the port discovery.
